Having overcome my own learning challenges, I believe in transforming learning into an inspiring journey. I am passionate about helping others unlock their full potential through a strong pedagogic concept.

At Alpine Momentum, we use experiential learning in the mountains, leveraging their natural challenges, triggers, and perspectives to create immersive and impactful educational experiences. This approach is grounded in neuroscience, engaging the brain in ways that traditional learning environments cannot, fostering sustainable learning through experience and deep understanding.

Alpine Momentum provides a range of learning experiences, including keynote speeches that use analogies and metaphors from the mountains to convey key messages and inspire audiences, customized team trainings tailored to meet specific needs and objectives of teams in firms and companies. Furthermore, we offer team building activities to enhance collaboration and communication, incentives designed to boost employee morale, and group trainings with a fixed curriculum designed to develop key skills.

Founder

Jef Verstraeten

Born in Belgium and having lived across Austria, Jef now resides in the heart of the Alps. His early struggles with traditional learning methods in a Belgian public school ignited his passion for creating inspiring and effective educational experiences.

As a board member of the Alpine Club and owner of the travel company Berggids, Jef brings extensive business and leadership expertise to Alpine Momentum. With over 10 years of teaching experience and full certification as a mountain guide, he prioritizes safety in all his organized mountain adventures.

Jef also excels in leading team building and incentive programs. His skills are further enhanced by his work as a business coach and consultant for several companies in Austria, continually expanding his ability to deliver exceptional experiential learning experiences.
